Planned Giving and The Friendship Club
Helping to give our girls a brighter future can be your legacy.
A planned gift is a creative way for you to pursue your charitable and financial goals. But its greatest benefit lies in knowing that you are supporting work that is important to you, to your community and especially to the girls for generations to come. A planned gift to the Friendship Club will help provide a brighter future for our girls.
There are several ways to make a planned gift to The Friendship Club. While a bequest is the simplest way to support the Friendship Club there are some options that you may want to explore with your financial advisor or attorney.
Through a simple provision in your Will or Trust, you may specify that a dollar amount, percentage of, or the residue of your estate be given to The Friendship Club.
- Insurance Policy:
You can name The Friendship Club as a partial or sole beneficiary, or, under certain circumstances, you may be able to gift the policy itself.
- Retirement Plan:
Naming The Friendship Club as a sole or partial beneficiary of your retirement plan (401k, IRA, etc.) can be a valuable tax reduction strategy.
If you have already named us in your estate plans, please let us know. We would be delighted to thank you and welcome you into The Friendship Society. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we will honor your wishes and will not publicize your gift.
If you would like to meet with us to discuss a planned gift, please call our Executive Director, Jennifer Singer at (530) 265-4311.
The Friendship Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation and our Federal Tax Identification Number is 68-0262000.
