The Run for Friendship is a 5K/10K run/walk event for all ages and abilities.

Race Route

The 10K race starts and finishes at The Friendship Club--138 New Mohawk Road, Nevada City. From The Friendship Club the race heads to downtown Nevada City along Searls Avenue and across the Pine Street Bridge. It passes through downtown to Champion Mine Road before circling back to the Club.

The 5K run/walk also starts and finishes at The Friendship Club. It follows Searls Avenue to Sacramento Street to Zion Street. The course turnaround is at SPD Market.

This event is rain or shine--no refunds are available.
Entries postmarked before August 1st (includes a t-shirt):
$20 for people 13 and over / $15 for children 12 and under

Entries postmarked after August 1st (do not include a t-shirt)
$20 for people 13 and over / $15 for children 12 and under

Awards

Awards for first overall male and female in 5K and 10K Runs
Medals for first three finishers in each age division for the 5K and 10K Runs

You Can Race, But Can You Raise?

Runners and walkers can help us further our mission by raising money through sponsorships. This is easy to do, and we will be awarding cash prizes to the top three fundraisers--1st prize is $250; 2nd prize is $150; and 3rd prize is $100.

Visit firstgiving.com/friendshipclub to create your personal fundraising page, then let potential sponsors know that you are raising money for The Friendship Club. Everyone who sponsors you will receive a thank you email and a donation confirmation for their tax records.
