Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter in place order, we are not hosting our Thanksgiving Dinner for youth and Holiday Reception this year.
Power of the Purse – Rescheduled for September 16, 2021
This is a free event to introduce people to our organization and learn about all the ways they can engage in our mission to support youth at risk in our community. We offer a wonderful purse raffle, with the generous support of local individual and business donors, that suits all needs and styles. We provide a nice lunch catered by Antonio Ayestaran. Click here for more information about this event, how to attend/RSVP, or to pre-purchase your raffle tickets.
Personal Growth Series Workshops – Ongoing (check back for dates)
Throughout the year, The Friendship Club will be offering workshops to promote personal growth for our volunteers and anyone in the community who wants to deepen their self understanding and connection with others. The workshops will typically be offered as a series, and each will have a suggested donation as a benefit for The Friendship Club.
- Discover Your Strengths Series: Facilitated by The Friendship Club’s own Jennifer Singer who’s also a Certified Strength’s Consultant. People who play to their CliftonStrengths are the absolute best version of themselves. Gallup research finds that they’re more engaged and productive at work and 3x more likely than others to have an excellent quality of life. Discover how CliftonStrengths helps people maximize their potential!
If you are interested in attending a future Personal Growth Series Workshop, contact Cindy Hintz and she’ll make sure to alert you when we have new dates scheduled: CindyH@friendshipclub.org or (530) 265-4311 x203.
